The Big Walk and Wheel 2026 – Amazing Results for Cwmbach

Over the past two weeks, our fantastic Global Gang have been working incredibly hard as part of "The Big Walk and Wheel 2026" campaign. They visited every class across the school, gathering information on how children travelled to school each day. Using their brilliant data-handling skills, they collected and uploaded the schools results to the website.

All that effort has certainly paid off…

We are thrilled to announce that our school placed:

🏅 10th out of 95 schools regionally
🌍 81st out of 741 schools nationally

These are absolutely fantastic results, and we couldn’t be prouder of the children, families, and staff who supported the challenge by choosing to walk, wheel, scoot, or cycle to school. A huge well done to everyone involved. You’ve made a real difference.
