Our Values
Our value for the first half of the Autumn term is Thankfulness. Children have enjoyed discussions with peers about all the things they are thankful for. The heart of all our discussions is always being thankful to God our father. Children understand the importance of saying thank you to everyone for the things that they have but that ultimately all things come from God.
We are currently looking at Harvest and being thankful for the crops and the farmers who work so hard to provide them.
Children held discussions about when they have had to persevere with something and what it teaches us. They carried out lots of fun activities to practise their perseverance, their favourite was trying to get a biscuit into their mouths from their forehead without touching it. They wrote prayers for our reflection area and asked God to help them persevere when things get tough.
